Zion's Farm Summer Kebabs

This recipe is fantastic for those itching to get grilling again with an easy summer dish! You can prep your ingredients ahead of time for easy cooking with friends and family. In the end, this dish creates a colorful, flavorful, and nutritious meal perfect for bringing people together.

1-1.5 lbs. Zion's Farm Sirloin Steak

2 Bell Peppers

1/2 Red Onion

2 packages whole White Mushrooms

2 cloves of Garlic

1/4 cup Olive Oil

Juice of 1 Lemon

2 tbsp Oregano

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of pepper

1 pack of Bamboo Skewers

1.) First we need to prep the ingredients for our skewers. These should all be roughly 1 inch cube sized to help with even cooking. Start by cutting your Zion's Farm Sirloin Steak into cubes that can be easily inserted onto the skewers.

2.) Do the same with your peppers and onion, making sure to cut into similar sizes for easy placement on the skewers for even cooking. The mushrooms are already good to go without chopping! Just make sure to wash from the package and remove the stems.

3.) Now time for the marinade. Placing the beef in this mixture is a great way to enhance the natural robust flavors from the dry aged beef while complementing it in just the right ways. Simply mince your garlic cloves and add to a mixing bowl along with the olive oil, lemon juice, and oregano along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Add only the steak cubes into the marinade, toss, and cover in the fridge for at least 30 minutes but up to 24 hrs.

4.) After the beef has marinated, uncover and get to skewering! When skewering, insert the bamboo skewer through the sides of the mushrooms, not vertically through the cap. This helps with even cooking and stops the mushrooms from burning on the sides. Other than that there's really no wrong way to skewer! Get family and friends to help you out and you'll have a mountain of Kebabs in no time!

5.) Now its time to grill! Set your grill to a medium-high setting. Grease your grill with olive oil or a non-stick spray for easy turning. After your grill is nice and hot, place on the grill and cover for 5-7 min. After, turn once and keep cooking for another 5-7 min. That's all it takes! Grill out and surround yourself with good people and good weather.
